I ordered a pair of these shorts a little while ago. I'm normally a medium in most bottoms, but according to the size chart I'm a large (39" hips), so I ordered a large. While the shorts feel like great quality, they are incredibly small. I wish I'd gone up a size or two more. They are stretchy, but not enough. They're very uncomfortable to wear because they're so tight. The size large I got looks like it would be a size small or extra small in other brands. I ended up keeping them because I didn't want to pay a bunch more for shipping, but I wish I hadn't. I've attached a picture of them (black) on top of a pair of red high waisted pole shorts in medium from another company for comparison.
